History

In 1916 Baron Carlo Magnani founded Acqua di Parma to offer an alternative to the opulent perfumes of his time. Colonia, created that year, became the house's emblem: a clear, elegant eau de Cologne in the image of the city of Parma.

The house has since expressed the Italian arte di vivere through several collections: the Colonia family, the Mediterranean waters of Blu Mediterraneo, the deeper fragrances of Signatures of the Sun and the florals of Le Nobili.
