Official website(new tab)History
In 1730, Juan Famenias Floris and his wife Elizabeth opened a shop selling perfume, combs and shaving goods at 89 Jermyn Street, in London's St James's. The shop is still the heart of the house, and their descendants run it to this day.
In 1820, Floris received its first Royal Warrant, as comb maker to King George IV. The house's ledgers record famous customers, from Winston Churchill, who bought Special No. 127, to Ian Fleming, who mentioned Floris in his James Bond novels. No. 89, created in 1951, bears the shop's number.
