History

Armand Petitjean created Lancôme after several years of travelling and working in South America. As early as 1935, the young house presented five travel-inspired perfumes, composed with George Delahomme: Tropiques, Conquête, Tendres Nuits, Kypre and Bocages. It drew attention that same year at the Universal Exhibition.

The founder grew roses in his garden: the flower became Lancôme's emblem. Volute describes here its main fragrance lines, filed among designer fragrances.
