History

Prada's story began in Milan in 1913, when a first shop opened in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The house then grew into an international fashion and luxury group. In 1997, Patrizio Bertelli's love of sailing led Prada to enter the America's Cup sailing race.

Its fragrances are presented by Prada Beauty; according to the house, the Luna Rossa line draws on competitive sailing. Volute describes its main lines, filed among designer fragrances.
