BDK Parfums

History

David Benedek grew up in the world of perfume: his grandparents, exiled from Transylvania, were among the first to distribute great perfume houses in Paris in the 1950s, then opened a boutique at the corner of rue Royale and rue Saint-Honoré. After studying economics and then attending the Institut Français de la Mode, he trained in raw materials alongside the teams at Givaudan and at the Institut Cinquième Sens.

He founded BDK Parfums in 2016, near the Palais-Royal. Each creation starts from a chosen raw material to reveal all its nuances, and the writing is entrusted to perfumers whose names the house publishes.
