In 1981, urged on by Diana Vreeland, a legendary figure of Vogue, Carolina Herrera showed her first collection at the Metropolitan Club in New York. Her house launched a first perfume in 1988, then a first masculine fragrance in 1991, Carolina Herrera for Men.
