Ella K Parfums

History

Ella K is one of the few perfume houses created by a woman perfumer. Sonia Constant imagined it as a tribute to the great women explorers — Ella Maillart, Karen Blixen, Alexandra David-Néel — and to a dreamed heroine who travels without limits.

Each fragrance starts from a place and a moment: a Kyoto Zen garden, a sacred lake in Rajasthan, the Kalahari desert. The dragonfly of the logo, drawn by Japanese artist Senjiro Nakata, symbolises metamorphosis, and the bottles are inspired by the simple shape of a camera.
