Lettre de Pushkar takes its name from a holy city in Rajasthan, where colours, sounds and smells jostle for attention. Saffron, nutmeg and cinnamon make a warm, golden entrance, like a spice market at dusk.
Rose and orange blossom then open, heightened by smoky cypriol, before a base of patchouli, vetiver, vanilla and musk. A generous spicy floral amber for cool evenings.

Lettre de Pushkar in detail
Ella K Parfums, founded by perfumer Sonia Constant, tells of journeys to the ends of the earth like the pages of a travel journal. Lettre de Pushkar, which she signs, evokes the roses offered to Brahma on the shores of the sacred lake of Pushkar, in India, under a sky full of spices.
The house lists its notes without sorting them into stages. Spices dominate first: saffron, nutmeg and cinnamon. Flowers follow, with rose and orange blossom. Cypriol, patchouli and vetiver bring a woody, earthy depth, softened by vanilla and musk.
Lettre de Pushkar is worn in the evening, in autumn and winter: a dinner, an evening out, a moment when you crave warmth and spice.
Three amber fragrances in our catalogue share many of its materials: Ambre 114 by Histoires de Parfums brings together nutmeg, rose, patchouli, vetiver, vanilla and musk; Red Tobacco by Mancera finds saffron, cinnamon, nutmeg and patchouli again, with tobacco; Alexandria II by Xerjoff pairs cinnamon, musk and vanilla.
