Goldfield & Banks was born from a journey: Dimitri Weber, a French-Belgian with a background in international fragrance development, arrived in Australia and discovered landscapes he found aromatic at every step, from turquoise coasts to tropical forests and the ochre lands of the centre. Above all, he was struck that fine perfumery had explored these rare essences so little, and he founded a house to honour them.
Its fragrances, all unisex, pair native botanicals with French composition techniques. Since 2016 the house has worked with Australian growers and distillers, following each oil from the field to the bottle: Australian sandalwood, Buddha wood, brown boronia, blue cypress or golden wattle. Its compositions are diluted in organic beetroot alcohol and divided between the Native Collection and the Botanical Series.
