Kilian Paris

History

Kilian Hennessy grew up among his family's cognac cellars in south-western France. The scent of oak casks and the "angels' share", the portion of spirit that evaporates during ageing, shaped his olfactory memory.

In 2007 he launched his house with ten fragrances, seeking to reconnect with late-nineteenth-century perfumery built on generous bases. He directs the creation alongside renowned perfumers. His bottles were designed from the start to be refilled, and his fragrances are now arranged in five families: The Fresh, The Narcotics, The Cellars, The Smokes and The Liquors.
