Baccarat Rouge 540 was born of the meeting between the house and crystal maker Baccarat, to celebrate its 250th anniversary. Francis Kurkdjian wanted to translate the alchemy of crystal into a fragrance built on three auras.
Jasmine, made airy by hedione, and the radiance of saffron form the aura of air; an accord of ambergris and dry woods, carried by ambroxan, draws the mineral aura; finally, a note with gourmand facets evokes fire. A woody ambery floral with an instantly recognisable signature.
